Pastures
The farm is on the site of the old village and as a result of
this the grassland has not been able to be ploughed out, there are many
different types of wild flowers, such as pig nut which are quite uncommon that
grow here. This area is available for visitors to walk on please note
under no circumstances are metal detectors allowed, it is against the law and
the principals of the Stewardship Scheme for this activity to take place.
The above picture is one of the old Moat it is not know
of what period it is from but belived to be medieval.
